I am very friendly to all of my residents. I love & care for each of them as if they were my own grandparents . I always pay attention to all of their wants and needs whether it be big or small . I am also willing to learn more to help my residents the best I can. A friend recommended that I get into Resident Care and once I got the hang of it I realized that I love caring for the residents . They have so much knowledge in life that I love hearing & learning about it and the best way to do that is by being around them all the time. I like to know that my helping them is making a difference in their lives even if it's just listening to a story they have to tell or calling 911 to save their life. It makes me feel good about myself to know that I have such a positive impact on so many lives daily. I have a couple of personal achievements that I'm proud of. My first is being able to calmly call 911 to help save the lives of a couple different residents before it was too late. My next one is that in under 4 months of never doing Care before, I was selected as the Best Employee of the Month! My last one is that after switching to Housekeeping that in under 6 months of doing Housekeeping I was selected as Best Employee of the month again! I am also a wife and mom of 4.
