i became interested in caregiving around my highschool years. I was introduced to a family in need of a caregiver for their disabled mother. I worked for them for about a year and I loved being able to help someone who couldn't care for themselves. I love to help others because I know that one day we will be at their age and will need care as well. One of my personal achievement was proving to myself that I could do a lot of things with or without any experience. I have worked in many jobs that I thought I couldn't do but I made it. And thanks to all of my hard effort I have came along way.

I worked in the hardware department and I was also a cashier.. I loved working there very much. I stocked shelves and made sure everything was in its correct place. I loved the fact that I was able to help people find things that they needed and couldn't find. we did have allot of non-speaking English costumers and I was a very big help to the store since we didn't have many Spanish speaking employees.

I used to care for ms.swami for about a year. I used to get there early in the morning and the first thing we did was pick her up from her bed with the help of her husband because she was disabled from the waist down. I showered her and then I dressed her and got her ready for breakfast. I fed her her breakfast, then I changed her bed with new sheets and sanitized the room. After all that was done I did some extra cleaning around the house and my day was done.
