I have been a caregiver for 11 years. I have worked with many different types of patients and have learned so many different ways to care for my patients to give complete quality care. My time is my patients and i will always make them feel as if they are all that matters to me. When my grandfather got sick i was very young but i watched the nurses care for him in his time of extreme need and i felt at home with them. The smiles and warm feeling they brought into the room took the grey feeling of losing my grandfather away. Now as a mother i put that care into my children and my patients. I love hearing my patients stories and the accomplishments they got to achieve in their lifetime. The photos you see in rooms the history behind each one brings me happiness. I love the smell of their perfume and cologne, makes me want to have each one of my patients smelling nice. A personal achievement im proud of is that i am currently a full time bachelor's program attendee, full time mother and work all while keeping myself at a 3.6 gpa.
