About Carol

Hello! My name is Carol Allende, I am 30 years young currently in pursuit of my Nursing degree. I have been in nursing for over 10 years, started working nursing homes at the age of 18 (2007) and worked my way into the hospice world. I am currently employed in a Hospice agency, but work in the office and would like to have a little more hands on during some of my spare time. In my 10 years of hospice experience, I have worked with patients with all types of limiting illnesses making myself more self efficient to be more proactive and helpful to my patients and their families. The only setting I would not enter was the acute hospitals. I am familiar with caring for the patients with Foley's, Colostomy's, Tracheostomy's, Hoyer lifts, and etc. If you would like to know more specifics, feel free to reach out to me and I will be happy to answer any questions you may have. I am proud of my 10 years in nursing, evolving into a person who can adapt to different personalities and circumstances.I hope to bring inspiration and joy to someone's life while assisting those in need. I do work from 8a-5p right now, but am available evenings (time to be determined based on location) and weekends.

I like helping elderly. Its a fun job, challenging but rewarding. I have working in this field for many years and I am proud that so many lives had been changed, and lifted up through me. A life of 90 years old man who could not take care himself and the family were so busy, and he was able to survive for seven years. I have been caregiver and CNA for more than ten years. I have worked in nursing homes, hospital and private duty in California, then I moved to Colorado for better future, Unfortunately my family won't move there because of cold weather. So at this time I'm back to California to be together with my family and looking for a job here.
