I became a caregiver because my daughter was born missing a piece of her 4th chromasome, which caused an endless amount of medical issues. Heart, gastrointestinal, ect. I remember how much it meant to my husband and I that someone who was knowledgeable about her syndrome or at least took the time to care about what she had to face daily was her caregiver. I wanted to be that person . Someone who let us feel at ease for a while that she was left in great hands.
