About Delia

I grew up with a father that was a police officer. I watched how hard and tirelessly he worked to help people and I was inspired. While I didn't want to enter law enforcement I also yearned for the satisfaction gained by helping others. I love to work with people and even more I love knowing that I am making an impact on their lives, no matter how small. I also have learn and get so much experience working with patients all this years specially with cases of alzhimers and dementia. I worked for Brookdale that is a very good and big home assistant living. I worked in the area of patients with dementia. but i love the experience i had in the past working one to one. i think i can give the best of me to that one person that needs me with him/her. i worked 2 years with a person that was in a lot of pain and I took a good care of him. I stay with him until his last breath. that was the best time I had as a caregiver because we gave each other a lot of our best.
