What makes me a good caregiver is that I care and love helping others. In the last two years I have cared for two different woman, one of which has dementia and needed to get out of the house for errands, doctor appointments and companionship. It allowed her husband to have some alone time and allowed her to feel she had not lost her independence. The other woman is 92 years old. This job asked for a full time live in which I embraced. My duties included, cooking all her meals, shopping for all food, daily bathing and administering her medications. I also take her to needed appointments, and general outings. I love a clean house and kept her home as clean as I would my own. The reason I would be a good choice is that I am realible, trustworthy, honest and an excellent cook and driver.

I go above and beyond to make him/her happy and feel loved. I became a caregiver, because when I was a little girl, I always helped out my grandparents, until the day they both left this earth. I was under the age of 18 when they passed away. So thats when I decided I wanted to be a caregiver. What do I like about being a caregiver, it gives me joy to make them happy and feel loved. Its vary important that i make them happy an enjoy these last days on this earth. I might not be able to take care of all the elderly, but the one's i do take care of its with love. Thats all that matters... I'm most proud of completing schooling in business management,
