I enjoy helping people, caregiving seemed normal for me as my grandparents lived in the house with us growing up in Kansas, I like making seniors feel cared about and safe and i'm at the age that I can relate to their ideas and concerns. Many times I can find the compromise when family members have struggles. I have two Associate degrees, one in English Literature and the other in Human Services. I also have a BS in Human Services. I enjoy planning events, the seniors that i take care of (In-Home care) live next door to each other. I recently renew my wedding vows and all the seniors in attendance received were given flowers and certificates for upholding the institution of marriage. My next event will be a history luncheon comparing the change in times. My goal with this is having seniors meet with their peers and younger guest to help with bridging the age gap in our community. I am a wife, mother and great great aunt, I love working on community service projects. I don't care for wearing scrubs and I have to many pairs of shoes. Respect is very important and treating people with kindness is very important. I am considering challenging the LVN boards if possible.
