When I first started my nursing journey I didn't know where to start, I started as a activities assistant and then from there my love for helping others grew . I became very interested in helping residents with their ADl's and even to the simple things of getting a cup of water. And that's when I made the switch to became a caregiver, doing things for others made me love the job I did because of the how the residents enjoyed my company and their day would just be interesting and joyful. I enjoy being a companion and care taker for the residents, most of the residents treat me as if I were their granddaughter and that's my favorite part of being a caregiver, I treat everyone the way I would want my own grandparents and parents to be taken care of .
