I am very passionate about being a caregiver, I don't think of it as just a job, its about helping and taking care of people in need. I started being a caregiver about 15 years ago because I have always loved taking care of people and making them feel good, even when I was younger it started with family and grandparents and from there moved up to being self employed taking care of people with different conditions or just for companionship. I enjoy what I do because it makes me feel good helping people. I have alot of patience and experience and don't get mad or upset with people. I'm very caring , calm and responsible and can handle working with any conditions. I have worked with many different people with several different medical conditions. Every person has different needs and I'm very fit any job. I have always done private care but also have worked for caregiving companies and threw IHSS (in home support services) threw the state which requires passing a background check, that I passed. I am from Kingsburg (in between Fresno and Visalia) but work in all surrounding areas and can travel to different towns. I have my own transportation and always on time, don't call in if not an emergency (not fair to the person needing care, not to be there for work) I am available any days and times and can work weekends, overnights, holidays, overtime and on call for last minute care. On wages, depends on how many people and what kind of care is needed or extra tasks (if needed) but I am always willing to negotiate with family's on what is fair to be paid . I'm very reasonable and try to be fair with each person needing care.
