I started in the medical field at 18, successfully as a ward clerk in Intensive and Coronary Care. I successfully worked as a ward clerk in a hospital Emergency Room for over 3 years. I have been detailed and successful for over 3O years in the financial departments at 3 Orange County hospitals, as well as doctor offices, a medical group and a surgi-center. I began caregiving in my home in 2011. I cared for an elderly gentlemen with many needs for 3 years. I found it rewarding. I have cared for two ladies with dementia/Alzheimer's as well as blindness. I am honest, trustworthy, compassionate, empathic, kind, reliable, a good listener with an excellent attendance record and driving record. My car is well maintained and safe. My clients are very satisfied with the care I provided. I have 4 very positive letters of recommendations that I can forward to you. I have a positive attitude and I can follow a recipe and known as a good cook. The thing I enjoy the most about caregiving is assisting someone in need and making a difference in their lives. I chose to become a caregiver when my Uncle who was on hospice could not be placed in a skilled facility due to no beds available they said. He lived with me and my husband where he was fed, bathed, provided with companionship and made as comfortable as possible til he passed with his loved ones. I also have provided weekly assistance to an elderly couple with cleaning and shopping for them. I love to take care of people who need help. January '17, I ended a caregiver position since she was on hospice and has since passed away. I was with her since May 2016. Most recently I have been employed 40 hours a week caring for a 71 year old female with frontal temporal dementia.
