I had looked after my mother-in-law for 3 years while she was on bed. This i did without any indifference. After her death, i would go to senior Citizens Home and attend to the clients there. I also joined Fiji Red Cross so that i could help our people in the community. This was all volunteer work. i wanted to make my people comfortable and happy. I have never had a paid job. We had our retail business and my free time would be at the Red Cross or Senior Citizens Home. Since moving to U.S., i am looking for employment and thought why not do something that i had been doing back home. This will not only help me settle here but also give me pleasure and satisfaction. I will also learn more about my new country through the people. I have completed a program in home care from California Home Care Registry. Care giving is my first choice as a paid job here. I love being with people and helping them is so satisfying. I will always be a care giver. Its a passion for me.
