I was attracted to this position like this for the reason that personally, I have lived with 2 family members that have a disability. My younger brother and my mother. My brother is autistic and my mother has arthritis. Both have needed much care from my family, specifically me since I live with them. I know how it feels to need someone to care for a family member, so no matter what your family member may need help with I am willing to learn I to help them and be a campaign to them. The one thing I enjoy about being a caregiver is that I am able to make someone's day much more fun and lighter. A personal achievement I am proud of is attending a University while being a first-generation student.
