1. I am currently in nursing school to obtain my BSN and become an RN. This past summer, I had an internship in Phoenix and I ended up living with an elderly couple in a retirement community. The wife had dementia and required total care and I ended up taking on a lot of that role. While I had no idea what I was getting into at the time, I ended up having a wonderful experience and learned a lot about how to love people in very unique circumstances. 2. I like being able to help people with things they aren't able to do themselves. None of us is capable of living without the help of others and I learn valuable lessons through each interaction with people. 3. I applied for and was accepted to do an internship at Mayo Clinic Phoenix this past summer which I just completed. I moved by myself to a new city and learned a lot about myself and the world in the process! 4.
