About Kiersten

In 2020, I moved backed to my hometown after living in Mexico for three years where I taught English as a Foreign language. At this time, I was asked by my family to become my grandfather's caregiver after he was diagnosed with Bell's Palsy. My grandfather has had a series of health complications within the last two years ranging from Mild Cognitive Impairment, diabetes, loss of mobility due to a fall, prostate cancer and a mini stroke. All of these have given me an abundance of knowledge on care directives and strategies to improve overall quality of life. My time providing care for my grandfather has brought back my passion for working as a Caregiver again. As I am a highly empathetic, patient and nurturing individual with experience, I am confident that I can succeed as a Caregiver for your loved one. My ability to connect with individuals and establish trusting relationships, along with my strong interpersonal skills, position me to thrive in this work field. I strongly believe that by working to build healthier habits and striving to maintain independence is the key to a longer, happier life. Warmest Regards, Kiersten

I am a humanitarian with empathy for people. I have compassion for people, I have a great personality, I am patience. I'm spiritual, giving, caring, and I love helping people reach there goals. I was attracted to caring giving because I worked in the field with women that had addictions to drug & alcohol abuse, women that were in domestic violence relationnships. I enjoy spending time with people, helping them achieve their goals, and ambitions. I am proud I was able to care for my former client for 22 years and she became like family and she is now able to do more things for herself. I also cared for a client for 5 years with colon cancer until she passed.
