I have a clean background check, driving record, as well as CPR and first aid certified. I am also a certified caregiver in CA. I have excellent references and provide all of this upon meeting with you. I have over 10 years experience dealing with many different aliments and all levels of care. I am blessed to be able to help others. I believe the best care includes being compassionate, supportive, & knowledgeable so that I can provide personalized care services with dignity and respect. I know how important my job is and I take care of my patients as if they were my own family. I love my work & quenienly care about people, always going above & beyond to help my patients providing a fun, positive space for healing. Playing games, listening to music, dancing even if we are in a chair. I was with a client recently and his son came by for a visit and asked if there was a party going on and why he wasn't invited. It's hard to get old and hard on everyone, whether some patients bodies are giving out but their minds are completely ok or a patient has Alzheimer's or dementia having fun is important for everyone. We handle everything from medication management, can suggest alternative care, physical therapy (keeping the client as active as possible), socializing with their peers, prepare healthy meals & would be there to help with anything that is needed. Scheduling any & all Dr's appointments, provide transportation and detailed notes for family. I also work as a case manager so I have a group of caregivers that I've worked with for years where coverage would Never be a problem making sure that the patient & families have the right person for the job. Alfred suffered from Alzheimer's, dementia, & neuropathy so it was mainly to care for him. It turned into a live-in care position and I was with them 524 hour shifts week.
