I am patient, gentle, creative, and compassionate. I began this to help a dear friend diagnosed with Alzheimer's. I started being his driver, then became his primary care-giver (making meals, keeping him clean, doing physical therapy with him, and other exercising, stretching, watching his favorite shows, cleaning up "accidents", doing his laundry, and making him laugh when possible). I got my certification in the beginning of this venture. My dedication is for him to maintain his dignity and enjoy his life, although he now is in the advanced stage and is being transferred into assisted living soon. I am also a sound engineer and producer, so I was able to record him when he could still recite his two favorite poems, add a musical and effects soundtrack, and produce a CD, 20 copies for the family, that is his legacy. I will miss seeing him daily as we have a routine, including walking on the local trail and feeding chickens in the backyard of a neighbor's house. I am an animal lover as well, and his faithful chihuahua, Zoe, went everywhere with us. I have experience now and am eager to help another person.
