I've been a caregiver for over 2 years. I started in an assisted living setting working in a memory care department for residents ranging from early stage to late stage of dementia/ Alzheimer's disease. I also worked with few homecare agency as a private/ one on one caregiver. I also worked as a staffing coordinator in my most recent agency but I decided to stepped down as a caregiver instead due to my school schedules and family. Being a caregiver helped me discover more about myself. I believe that one of my personality traits is being kind and treat all my client as my own family or relatives. Helping people has always been my passion that is why I am also currently in school for an LVN program and hoping to be an RN in the future. I am born and raised in the Philippines and been here in the United States for only 6 years. The personal achievement I am always proud of is when I got my GED and associated degree here in the USA.
