I care deeply about those in need and have known since my youth that I wanted a career in the medical field wherein I could spend my life doing what I am passionate about. When I was 11 my Uncle moved in with my family and he suffered from schizophrenia and dementia and was in treatment for oral cancer. I began participating in his daily care and although we couldn't save his life it was the many months that we comforted him and met all of his basic needs that stood out the most to me. At 23 my Grandma was diagnosed with stage4 Pancreatic Cancer and again I was a part of the family team that cared for her til she passed. It is these moments that convinced me to go to EMT school and pursue my dream. I am proud of obtaining my EMT Certification. I enjoy caring for those who can't care for themselves.
