I am experienced caregiver since 2010. I went to CNA but I did not renew my license. I am Certified Respiratory Therapist and did practice the profession.

I am fully vaccinated for Covid 19. I have over 15 years experience as a CNA in Home Health Care and companionship. I would like to utilize my skill set in a private one on one caregiving environment. Perhaps the most important element to my success is that I am very passionate about my patients and trying to meet their needs truly going the extra mile so that I am improving their lives on multiple levels. I am a very loyal caregiver. I started my career taking care of my elderly mother until her last breath. Though I put my life on hold to care for my mother, it was a time I consider to be a blessing. It began my love for care giving. The most recent Home Care Provider was for a client-friend I served for over 7 years. I cared for him up until his very last breath. In the 7 years I worked for him I never called in sick. I feel my expertise is adapting to the clients needs not just in the physical, but emotionally, and by way of companionship. I enjoy the career of care-giving because it truly is a career that is far reaching and meaningful beyond my imagination.

I am a very compassionate person. I care for all clients as I would care for a family member. It is very important to me to make sure all clients have the dignity and respect they deserve. Caregiving has made me feel like I have a sense of purpose in this world and it makes me go home everyday feeling like I have accomplished something meaningful. I have been a caregiver since I graduated high school in 2003, and although I have tried working other jobs, caregiving is the only place I have felt fulfilled.

I have experience with caregiving for clients that are under the age of 10 & over the age of 80. On a personal note: I was my mothers caregiver for the last 2 years of her life. She was on & off of hospice while she battled a liver & lung disease. Currently, I'm a Respite Worker for clients that have a range of health issues. (Downs Syndromes, Deafness, Autism Spectrum Disorder) I have completed my Senior Caregiver training required by the state of California to attain a license as a home care aide. I have also completed several Carelinx education courses & I am open to taking any class my client might request. My goal is for future clients & their families to feel ease of mind that I am a capable caregiver.

What attracted me to caregiving was my mother, ever since I was old enough to remember I would go with my mother who is currently a CNA to her job and I fell in love with her passion of caring for everyone. Everyone loves my mother because she's great at what she does and I've always inspired to be like her. What I enjoy most about caregiving is the help that I am giving to those in need!
