Why did I become a caregiver? I became a caregiver because of my desire to help others especially the elderly. My passion and dedication for seniors is very important to me. Nothing brings me great pleasure in assisting people that are in need of some care. My greatest achievement in life are my children. I am a mother of four and a grandmother of six. Teaching my children to respect and help others gives me the satisfaction that when in some giving time I need help, they will assist me just like I assist and care for others in the same manner. Additionally, I took on light housekeeping duties to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for my clients. I'm multi-lingual in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Teochew, and Vietnamese. Certified in CPR and AED, and Food Handler certification. I have consistently prioritized the well-being and safety of my clients. Furthermore, I have pursued ongoing professional development through various certifications, including Safety Precautions & Fall Prevention, Dementia Care, Clients' Rights (HIPAA and Elder Abuse), Independent Living through Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs), and Health & Safety. I'm also a board licensed Cosmetologist and Aesthetician.
