What makes me a wonderful caregiver is I enjoy helping others, making others smile when they feel like they have no purpose. As well as making them feel alive and happy. When I became a caregiver for the first time I never understood how important you become for the elderly and how much your presence can brighten up there day. What makes me enjoy being a caregiver is leaving my patient at the end of my shift knowing what I was able to do for them and how much better I made there day. I'm most proud of knowing that not only the patient but for myself as well brings happiness and also when I leave knowing everything I did for that day was everything and more they wanted or could've asked for.
