My years at St. John's Health center, I worked for both private doctors and the main hospital. I worked for a Internist/ Endocrinologist. Here I took blood, gave shot, did EKG's, roomed and vital patients for doctor along with assisting him with Pap smears, and wound care. I did some billing as well as scheduling. I also worked for an Urologist. My job duties were basically the same as the internist with the exception of Pap smears. Then I moved to the main hospital working in the operating room. I worked in pre-op, the main OR and with anesthesia. I stayed with St. John's for 18 1/2 years. I left this job to further my education and the travel was very far going to Santa Monica from Antelope Valley while going to school. I still have a very good rapport with this hospital, the doctors and administrators there.
