Far back as I can remember I have been caring for those in need. As a child while friends would be hanging out I would be going around my grandparents mobilhome park visiting people and taking care of things they weren't able to do themselves. My grandmother ended up getting ill with emphysema and later losing her life to the disease. I was however able to provide inhome healthcare for my grandmother in her last years. From there I became a certified massage therapist working in holistic medicine, chiropractic, and hospital settings alike. That was in 1999 til present. And from there went to loma linda univerisity to persue my degree as a physical therapy assistant. However i had to quit only three classses shy of degree in order to care for my mother who was dealing with cancer and surgery after surgery. My mother was able to beat the odds and come out a surviver. I was able to get wound care certified while attending llu and this i look at as a blessing that God has given me to aid in caretaking those in need. And although I wasn't able to graduate and obtain my degree as a physical therapist I have been able to put my knowlede to work in helping those around me. It is my calling to care for people and all i know in my heart and soul to do.
