Hello my name is Candice Johnson I'm a wife and mother of four beautiful children and I love being there mom. I've been married for 19 years which is one of my biggest accomplishment's to date, my husband was diagnosed with end stage renal failure at the beginning of our marriage. So at the age of 19 I became a mom and wife all in one year and then a caregiver to my a very sick husband. I cared for him and a growing family which presented many challenges that I learned to overcome which makes me very adaptable. Adaptability is an important attribute needed for being a Great Care Giver. Caring for a growing family and a very sick mate made care giving something that I just do and love doing. I also just love people, I really do I'm Interested in there culture and there food and there choice of books to read etc. I am a full time student and need to work to support myself and since I have many years of experience care giving this is the perfect job for me. My passion is FOOD from grilling to baking doing everything from scratch, even baking fresh bread. I truly get joy out of helping especially Cooking for people. This was a 22 year old male with renal failure, hypertension and congestive heart failure . I drove him to and from dialysis 3 days a week I made all meal and made sure he took all medications and and limited his consumption of liquids, took him to Dr. Appointment's. I washed clothes cleaned house and prepared meals that were low in sodium and potassium. I followed the special diet that the doctor gave him. On July 17, 2017 he received a kidney transplant. I currently prepare all meals and clean house and wash clothes and make sure he takes all anti-rejection medications

This was a Diverticulitis patient who needed 24 hr car after surgery he was a 60 year old male with high blood pressure and high cholesterol. Had the responsibility of cooking meals for him and cleaning his home and making sure he took his medication. I also assisted in wound care.He need to be bathed and shaved daily I prepared his low sodium meals with Mrs. Dash and plenty of herbs

Looking after a 84 year old cancer patient with dementia. I had to come in every other day from 6 pm to 6 am to ensure the patient took her medicine and was feed dinner. She wore adult diaper and also used the portable potty. I gave her baths and put on clean clothes. I made sure she was comfortable and talked to her about her husband who'd recently passed.
