I've always been a natural care-taker. I practically raised my 4 younger siblings. I nannied while I was in college to help pay for school and had so many referrals that I had to stop taking clients. It is through one of those families that I eventually became a caretaker, the grandmother only wanted me to take care of her after watching how I was with her grandchildren. I am very patient, kind, understanding and I don't need to be told what to do. I pay attention to what needs to get done and if I see something needs doing I do it. I am always learning and will research on how I can do better. I love school and love learning so I am always researching new and better techniques but I have 10 years of experience in taking care of children and seniors so I know what needs to be done and I'm good at it. I enjoy being a caregiver because I genuinely enjoy helping people. I am very proud of learning physical therapy techniques so that I can properly help my clients with light exercises that help them to feel better. I am also a good cook, so I can help prepare meals and genuinely enjoy cooking. I am a great companion and can't wait to meet my new client.
