I became a caregiver soon after I graduated high school. I helped care for my friend's grandfather the last two years of his life, which is what got me interested in the healthcare field. I then got into a Vocational Nursing program. I kept doing private caregiving during school. It's been 6 years now! I have worked privately as well as through agencies. During my nursing program, I picked up on a lot of other handy skills. I am dedicated to ensuring my client's needs are being taken care of and their goals are being set and met. I enjoy caregiving because, to me, there is no better feeling than establishing family type relationships with people who have so much to offer. I enjoy spending one on one time with people and getting to know them. I love listening to them tell me all the stories they can think of! On my free time, I spend lots of time with my family and our pets! (In home pets are not a problem for me; I have a dog, a cat and two bunnies) I am willing to negotiate hourly rate depending on distance and needs. Thank you!
