I think what makes me a great caregiver is my patience. With Alzheimers and Dementia residents they switch up all the time. You just have to be able to stop time and help them to the best of your ability. I was attracted to caregiving because my grandmother was sick and all I wanted to do was help her. Everyone I help becomes my grandma and grandpa. I just want to help them to the best of my ability. I enjoy the memories that I make. I make some of the best friends and hear the most amazing stories as a caregiver. I wouldnt trade the experience for the world. Just being a companion can make someones day. I am proud of my promotion. I was a caregiver 4 months before being promoted to Med Tech
