Took care of Margaret Owyang who was bed bound due to a severe stroke that almost cost her her life. She also had colon care and was told that she will not live to see another birthday but she lived for more than a decade. After she got home from hospital she had 6 different caregivers in one month the longest of them worked for one month and told me I don't know how long you will last she is critical and the family have high expectations I was only 28 years and was the youngest caregiver to come on board but thankfully with gods strength I was able to pull through and the family hired me to be a full time cargiver and paid penalty to the agency for hiring me privately. Margaret could not fed herself from the beginning but she was able to feed her own self few months into my caring for her. I assisted her in everything from bed to w/chair to the toilet or bath tub. I showered her everyday. I worked 5days and 24 hours. I did it all and was always a pleasure to see her recovered from all those health issues she had and back to enjoy some of the things that she really like which is travelling for one. I travelled with her to Hawaii, Colorado, Washington just to name a few and sad to say she didn't die out of any health issues but choked with candy while watching tv during my releaver's watch,

Live in caregiver for 24 hours, 7 days a week, caring for an elderly lady Amelia Grey 88years old with Alzheimer's disease and suffered stroke that left her half paralyzed. She need assistance with everything. Meal planning and preparation. Set up weekly medications and dispense. Transportation to her medical appointment and dental hygiene. I assisted her with everything transfers and bathing she uses wheel chair when she is out of bed and I also do her exercise activities during the day.
