The main reason why I make an amazing caregiver is that I was in a freak accident and was expected to be in a wheelchair for the rest of my life. However, with the help of a awesome medical team around me I made a full recovery. I chose to become a Home Health Care Aide because I understand how to truly help someone in need. Patience is the key ingredient to being a great caregiver. I was in a wheelchair for 4 years, without the patience of my Dr's, nurses, family and friends I would have given up and been stuck in my wheelchair. I am determined to make a difference in as many lives as possible.
