I believe what makes me a great caregiver is that I take care of all my patients as if they were my own family and make sure they are comfortable and most importantly I listen to their needs. I first became interested in health care when my mother was ill and needed care herself and realized that I had a real passion for helping others. I enjoy knowing that the family can be at ease knowing I'm there taking care of their loved ones. At Long Beach Memorial I was know as the "sitter whisper" because whenever they had a difficult patient they would alway assign me that patient and by the end of the day the patient would no longer require restraints or was completely compliant and friendly. They always ask what was my secret and I would say I simply listen to what their needs are.

My name is Lilibeth a native from the Philippines, authorized to work in United States, i am a licensed Nursing Assistant and Home Health Aide, I have 11yrs working experience in care-giving industry with different cases like dementia, Alzheimer, hoyer lift, breast cancer, colostomy bag, copd, urinary incontinent, diabetic, urine bag, hospice care, ambulatory, transferring, knee surgery, bipolar, depressed, companion, Parkinson, legally blind, bathroom assistance, bed-bath, shower and grooming assist, perennial care, oral and many more . I make sure the safety of the clients by clearing the pathway to avoid falling, i make sure to encourage client to apply all the doctors mandated like taking fluids or measure the fluid intake, to re-position client every 2 hrs to avoid bedsore, take vital signs, I do light housekeeping, laundry, prepare meals and medication, groceries and drive clients to appointments..Working with elderly or those who need care is my passion its like am at home with my family., its fulfilling to see the progress or improvement with the way i care, I work with love and compassion.
