Hello, My name is Shalonda. I am and have always been a compassionate person tending to the needs of others. I have been a caregiver since 2009 and I am currently a student attending college for nursing. I am a great caregiver because I actually care for my patients. I provide care to the best of my ability, the most comfortable and professional care that I could give to a person in need of assistance. I really enjoy helping others and that is why my goal is to become a registered nurse in a few short years. I make sure the safety of the clients by clearing the pathway to avoid falling, i make sure to encourage client to apply all the doctors mandated like taking fluids or measure the fluid intake, to re-position client every 2 hrs to avoid bedsore, take vital signs, I do light housekeeping, laundry, prepare meals and medication, groceries and drive clients to appointments..Working with elderly or those who need care is my passion its like am at home with my family., its fulfilling to see the progress or improvement with the way i care, I work with love and compassion.
