About Madison

My personality is a very happy person I've always been caring of the elderly community just because I feel like the elderly has no advocates for them! I worked for a nursing home for about three years and as well as private caregiving on the side just because I love elderly patients and taking care of them properly. I spent a lot of time taking care of my loved one for about 5 to 7 years after a stroke and it got me into loving caregiving and anything about the nursing community! I have been told by many of my patients clients and family members especially working in a hospital for 2 1/2 years during Covid I learned a lot about bedside manner and what to say and how to get patients motivated to do things that they need to do for themselves for the better future also helping them in their last stages of life . The very passionate person about medicine and making sure people are happy with their care. I enjoy making my patients laugh over funny things or stupidity or anything that can really bring joy for that time in for that visit even an uncomfortable situations! My personal achievement is to get my registered nursing license by the time I'm 25 it is a current goal of mine and hopefully have fulfill that goal with going back to college! Unfortunately in current times I cannot afford college so taking this extra job on top of my home health job will definitely get me to where I need to go!

My role as a CNA is to make sure my patients vitals are OK! We do excellent skin checks , because that's super important with elderly patients! Assisting with bed baths showers and any kind of bathing that is necessary for that specific patient . Assisting with bedbound patients as well wheelchair-bound patients and anything in between lifting range of motion as well as anything the patient needs to stay clean and keep their skin well! Our routine is that we assist with lots of lotion in and keeping the skin intact as well as bandaging under CNA rules! Also help with assisting in taking out the garbage if need be if the patient is not assessable to do that as well as light cooking if needed! I can also do a little bit of cleaning I'm very well versed in cleaning if need be!
