When I was younger I saw my grandma in a nursing home and I realized that elderly people are very fragile and need special care to keep going. I saw how she drifted away and didn't receive the care that she needed. So I decided to become a CNA so that I can care for my parents in their time of need. I attend to patients needs and try to understand what they feel is comfortable. I enjoy seeing my patients smile and willing to keep going. I love to do things that they remember doing or like to do. Involving them in what is going on in the world and keeping them motivated. I'm just happy that I could have a chance to work with such people, that have nothing but people like me to care for them. I take pride in my work and I care for someone like I would prefer to be cared for. I am a trustworthy person, I may tend to take more time with patients but I don't feel like a person who is already in pain and unsure of ones self should be rushed to move, get dressed, or do anything they take time to do. I am a hard worker and I have a very kind heart. I am open to new experiences and willing to learn.
