Daily personal hygiene, assist with walking, educated in lifting and repositioning skills from a Physical Therapist. 4. Daily safety checks in room, home and visited outdoor areas. 5. Emergency plan if the electricity shut off or a natural disaster. 6. Equipment maintenance: oxygen machine, scooter, walker and wheelchair. 7. Played mental stimulation games, reading, exercise and outdoor activities. 8. Daily record keeping of distributed medication, behavior and tasks. 9. A few weeks experience with in-home hospice care. 10. TB tested and CPR certified. Only speak English. Personal Skills: Friendly, fun, compassionate, caring and patient. Enjoy helping others. My experience with care giving started 5 years ago with my Mom. Unfortunately her health deteriorated and it was necessary for me to take care of her full-time, 24 hours a day. She suffered from arthritis, COPD, Alzheimer s and other ailments associated with aging. I love being a caregiver now so I can give and share love with others.
