My friends and family are constantly approaching me whenever they need help or advice, so I have naturally always been the "nurse" of my circle. I decided to become a caregiver because I truly enjoy nursing others back to health and being a part of their journey to recovery. I like to be there for them in the good and bad times, while offering a personable and therapeutic relationship. Getting to know individuals and their strengths and weaknesses and also seeing them overcome their limitations is an incredible reward in itself. It just goes to show that we all just need some support and someone to talk to in order to help us cope. A personal achievement that I am proud of is completing a vocational nursing program and obtaining my VN certificate. It was a very tough program, due to it being accelerated, but I enjoyed the challenge and learned a lot along the way, so it was definitely one of my highlights in life.
