I have been a caregiver for over 15 years. Most of my experience has been with clients with Dementia / Alzheimer's. As I begin a new assignment I get to know everything about the client. I contact the treating physician, family members, palliative team, etc., and prepare for every conceivable eventuality. I drive my clients to appointments, assist with incontinence and constipation issues, bathing and exercise. I prepare simple meals, do the laundry, keep the house clean and shop for groceries. I make my clients feel loved and appreciated. I've done the TB test and completed a First-Aid/CPR course. I have submitted to a complete background check and am registered with the California Dept. of Social Services. I'm responsible, reliable and dedicated. References available.
