My name is Adriana Castillo, I'm 28 years old, and I've been working as a caregiver for the last 3 years for a company that works with people with cerebral palsy, we also work with clients with schizophrenia and down syndrome. I started working as a caregiver because I wanted to make a difference in someone else's life. When I was 11 years old my dad was diagnosed with cancer, he spent almost a year going to chemotherapy, among other treatments he was receiving, I was trying to help as much as I could and since that I always thought I'd like to be helpful the same way and make a difference in someone else's life. Whenever I'm working with my clients I put my dad's face on them and treat them with the respect and dignity they deserve.
