I have always felt that Nursing and taking care of/helping people is my true calling. Ever since I can remember, I wanted to grow up to follow in my mom's footsteps and go into either Nursing, or a career focused on helping other people. I have a huge heart that is full of compassion, understanding, empathy, and love. I have a little over 8 years of experience now working as a CNA in a variety of settings such as: assisted living, nursing homes, private home care, hospitals, and independent contracting through agencies. I put 110% into my work, and sometimes probably go above and beyond what is asked of me. I am reliable, am a fast learner (who loves to learn as many new things as possible), a team player, detail oriented, patient, calm in stressful situations, friendly, organized, and am able to take on anything that is asked of me (multi-tasker). If ever I do not have an answer or solution to a question or problem that may arise, I am not afraid to ask questions so I know what the right solution is...in other words, I would never act as if I know it all because I certainly do not. I absolutely love taking care of people, and I do so in a personal and professional manner. Over my 8 years of experience working as a CNA/caregiver, I have never received any complaints from clients or family members of clients. I currently have been unemployed for over a year now, as I moved here to Merced from the central coast Monterey Bay Area, a little over a year now. It's been quite a struggle making ends meet, but I want to be sure that the job I finally do get, is one that I will love waking up to go to every day. I am very passionate and focused on what I do best, which is caring for other people.
