I believe that the elderly should be treated with respect, care, and offered caring assistance. My goal is to assist seniors so that they could maintain an independent lifestyle. At the same time, loved ones and family members could feel comfortable knowing that a caring person is there to help. In the past, I have worked with seniors and children with disabilities. I'll be happy to provide assistance in daily living which can include light housekeeping: sweeping, dusting, changing linen, washing dishes, etc. meal preparations, assistance in eating, breakfast, lunch, dinner, and often snacks as well. Running errands grocery shopping, pharmacy, etc. taking client to medical appointments, keeping up on my clients' hygiene, lite physical/ massage therapy or exercise routine as needed, weekly laundry. I'm a very compassionate, loving, kind-hearted, intelligent, fast learner, good listener, patient, understanding, honest & humble, as well as trustworthy. Companionship is of high importance as well. My hours of availability are limited at this time; if weekends or other hours are required it can possibly be worked out if you are located in Riverside or if there is a need for a possible live-in position. For new clients, payscale can be negotiable I take into consideration needs, driving time, etc.

I chose a career in nursing to help and care for others. My personal value/belief system has always been to be compassionate. In the nursing profession you need to have an overwhelming amount of compassion and caring for your patients and their families. I know as a nurse I am not only caring for the patient's physical health, but also their emotional needs. During my clinical experience I enjoyed building rapport and trust with my patients. In order to do this kind of nursing you must have empathy and compassion. Personality and bedside manner are extremely important when caring for patients, however it is not the only aspect of nursing that will allow success, knowledge is truly the core of success in nursing. I am a mother and wife and have learned the skill of organization and prioritizing which helps me to be a better nurse and helps in providing the best health care to my patients.
