To provide support to those who need it the most and to help improve the quality life of everyone I touch. I enjoy jobs where I have one-on-one interaction with. Being a mother and wife it was not easy, it was challenging! But I never gave up and at the end it was all worth it!!

I enjoy working in a home setting as I am an upbeat and positive person that believes a person is happier and more comfortable being cared for in their on environment. I am detail oriented. I enjoy making someones day better. Giving a person respect and dignity is very important to me. I feel the most important achievement that I have done in this field was helping a family of three at the same time with extensive duties and fulfilling all their needs. My other achievement is having 2 beautiful grown daughters and grandsons. I would like to ad that I am articulate about my work and getting it done in a timely manner and don't believe in taking shortcuts. I am also a great companion. I love to read even out loud! I am also good at writing correspondence for someone if its need. I am also very compassionate. I am also willing to travel to a job if it is an overnight situation . I have a food handlers card for Arizona and have also passed an online caregiver course with high score. I am willing to work in an overnight situation or even travel to areas for working a live in situation.

I have worked as a PCA, certified Medical Assistant, & volunteered in nursing homes. I have a lot of experience within this field for what ever help is needed. Hello. My name is Patty. I have been a caregiver for over 10 yrs . I started when my best friend was diagnosed with ALS. After she passed away, I went back to school to become a CNA and Hhc so I could specialize in caring for patients with ALS and the elderly patients. Since then, I have cared for 4 additional people who have all been diagnosed with ALS. Between in home care, doctors visits and hospital stays I have been with these amazing people every step of the way through this debilitating disease. I am a caring and loving person. I work hard and always go out of my way to take care of my patients. I have experience in tracheotomy breathing treatment's, G-TUBE care feeding, wound care, medications and other infections. I deal with Medicare and insurance companies. I am willing to drive and I enjoy being with my patients. There health and well being always come first..
