I'm currently working here in California for more than three years now as a caregiver. I've worked in a six-bedroom elderly board and care facility or RFCE setting, in Assisted Living Facilities and now with several agencies as "One-on-One" in-home caregiver. I stand 5'11", 35 years old, male, Filipino with a medium to large built. Currently residing at Van Nuys, close to Sherman Oaks area. I have experiences working with patients suffering from high blood pressure/ dementia/alzheimers/ hospice cases/ cancer/ type 1 and type 2 diabetis/ parkinsons/ heart stroke/blindness/ surgery recovering patients/ injured and completely disabled patients/ quadrepligic patients/ patients on g-tube, colostomy bag, b-pap or c-pap/ incontinence care and others. My responsibilities are as follows but not limited to: meal preparation, I make sure that required diet of the elderly is strictly followed; bathing and grooming including beard shaving, hair cutting, daily bath, diaper changing; lifting and transfers upto 220 lbs., walking, exercise, laundry, light house keeping, company to outside activitiesand appointments; and medication reminder and preparation; and keen on daily log documentation; I am okay with pets. My CPR, First Aid, TB Test, HCA ID, Drug test and FBI criminal background check are all up to date. My available days are from Sunday to Friday (8am-6pm). And I have current driver's lisence and a clean driving record. I'm a very motivated happy person, extremely patient, caring for the elderly, compassionate with what I do, hard working, can easily learn to do the job perfectly and persistent achieving and exceeding expectations.
