The reason I became a caregiver: I can remember as far as way back when I was 8 yrs old little girl, my uncle had cut his finger, I rushed to get a band- aid, wipes to clean up blood, I remember feeling a sense of peace knowing that I was able to help, it gave me a very rewarding feeling , seeing the look on his face, knowing that I have cared enough to run and get aid, made him feel loved and cared about, it was like he forgot that he was cut, ever since then, I have enjoyed caring for people, making them feel loved, knowing that they are not forgotten . What I like about being a caregiver is that very same thing ,you get to feel important, you get to feel needed. I can be assured there will always be work for me to do. People will always need some one to care, help out when and where it is needed. Sometimes families lead hectic lives, with busy schedules, and can't be with a friend, family member or loved one's as much as they would like, and for that very reason, they will call upon someone like me , someone they can trust, with their family member, someone who loves to care and give companionship, and can fill in where it is needed. Something personal that I am proud of. Raising my two children on my own and with help of the Lord has been a success. I received my certificate on Alzheimer's and dementia patients, I am now a licensed CNA, and it has given me a better understanding of their mental state . Something about me. first and foremost I am a Christian, I like to treat people accordingly.... This is not my job ,this is my career, or more like my calling, I enjoy cooking, eating with while haveing good conversations, with my well cared for clients..:) I passed live Scan background clearance through O.P.D will provide upon request. thank you!
