I became a caregiver because I would take care of the elderly for free at my church people I know. One of the ladies from church said to me "Savannah your so good with old people you should become a cna", and I went to school and now im a licensed CNA! So here is a story of and elderly woman whom I was taking care of was sitting on the floor and had been there for about 3 hours and she could not get up, nor could her husband get her up, So as the husband was telling me the story I asked him to be quite for a minute and I begin to think about the person and what she liked and didn't like and she was a hugger up on first greeting sometime's, so I bent down to her and spoke and hug her and as I did that I just stood up with her in my arm's she was so happy she walked for 2 hours, but that's another story....THis job has become something I am very passionate about.
