I love to treat everyone like they are my family, I love building bonds and doing whatever I can to make my resident feel at home. I am very patient, understanding. I am such a problem solver so I would do whatever it takes to make them feel at ease with no stress or worries. What attracted me to become a caregiver is when my uncle and grandma ended up in a facility that never catered to their needs, I knew then I wanted to be that change in the community. The thing I love most about being a caregiver is sharing laughs, smiles and also hearing stories. I have a very bubbly personality so it makes days worth it when you make someone laugh and smile. One personal achievement that I'm proud of is jumping into something so amazing, being able to help the elderly and giving them what they deserve most, that is someone they can trust, that they feel safe around, that I can give them that sense of home to them. I feel like we are changing how the elderly should always be treated and that is with the most respect.
