I have been caregiving since I was nine years old. I was raised by my grandmother so it is easier for me to relate to seniors. She had cancer and I cared for her until she passed at the age of ten. I can be thrown into any situation and come out smiling. It is rewarding to know that I can walk into a home and care for someone, to make them laugh and smile even if it is for a short time. I am easy going. I do as I am told. I will let my client try it their way and if it does not work then I will ask to see if we can try it my way.
