I am an experienced caregiver as I have taken care of my mother for 2 years at home in hospice. I also took care of my daughter for 3 years in home with her hospice time for breast cancer and at the same time taking care of my 3 grandsons. This past December I was watching my neighbor who was on hospice during the daytime, as things changed I was needed 24 hours a day for 5 months. I dispensed his medication, organizing the scheduled nursing/bathing appointments, doing laundry changing his meals so he could keep interested in different flavors. I cared for his kitty and eventually brought her home with me. I learned to enjoy golf, NASCAR and football.
