I enjoyed taking care of my g-mommy and watching her face lite up when she realized I didn't mind doing what it takes to give great care. Giving quality time to those who feel no-one hears them anymore. Just to engage in a conversation with them makes a difference. Being able to help a patient extend life to do things they thought was impossible makes me feel greatly appreciated. I'm very compassionate about my job and very particular how my care is given. I have lots of patience and understanding of the elderly whom was once independent.
