Hello my name is Venita, born and raised in Dallas, TX. I come from a religious background, raised to serve others as a suitable servant upon God. I enjoy helping to care for others; have it be family, friends or strangers. I truly believe that everyone needs someone in their lives through the good and bad times in life. When I care for others, I treat them and their family like they are my family members. As a caregiver, I am proud of being able to use and share my wisdom and learning skills throughout the years amongst others. Being a caregiver at earlier ages has made it possible for me to start my own family and allowed me to care for them correctly in their personal need areas; mental, emotional and physical disabilities. I believe that I wouldn't have been able to understand upfront, had I not encountered those challenges in working with others with similar disorders and diseases. My proudest achievement is determining my own diagnosis in 2016, Multiple Sclerosis, after working with patients who shared similar diagnoses and symptoms like myself. I have been able to care for myself and manage a healthier lifestyle after going through a near death experience to be in the position to start over and not give up in life, to continue serving others. :J
