Asst with medication reminders and usally have a plastic box marked for each day of the month Enoy providing caregiving get to know them very well, Usually drive their car to MD appts, or asst with shopping/ or go to lunch, Light house keeoing prevent clutter and for patient safety. Pretty lucky last client had a weekly maid that deep clean, and washing of clothes then drying the clother in the dryer. If worked over night shifts make sure they are clean and dry. Tuen every 2 hours and sometimes diaper change. Prevent skin break down from not turning. Asst with dressing very careful not to rush tne changing yo prevent skin tears. Skin gets very thin as we age. Prevent bruising from the medications especially blood thinners You really get to know them very well, and they like doing their activity on a routine schedule. Sometimes we would go out and walk with their dog Keeping the client happy, and well taken care of as if they were my own Mom and Dad. Never accept cash tips and if they wanted to give me anything usually asked for prayers. Its good for your soul.

As a " Per Diem CNA MS/Tele/ Patient care Tech sitter. Responsible for patient safety prevention of falls while an in patient. Also sometimes assigned as a " Patient Safety Tech" for patients that are place on a " 3 Day Hospital Hold" suicidal attempts. Responsible patient vitals signs, record In/out outputs , incontinent care changing adult soiled diapers. Asst patient to the bathroom making sure no falls. Asst with ADL such as dressing, changing patient clothing. Asst with feeding or set up patient meal trays. If they are on heart moniter will change out the batteries. Asst with admission set up the room and follow the MD/RN orders. Also place the tele monitor placing the correct patch on patients chest wall. THen connect the leads to monitor box. Empty foliies, cholostomy bags. Make patient beds , asst with showers, and maske sure they are not pulling off their chest wall leads connected to the tele box, or sometimes they will try pull out their IV, patient gowns. Make sure the bed alarms are on for the high fall risk patients. Also lower the bed closest to the ground to fervent falls. Then chart every 15 min. notify RN/LVN is any changes with the patient/

Incontient care, diaper changes, ,make occupied and unoccupied beds. Pass meal trays and pick dirty meals trays when finished with teir meals. Change out batteries on tele box, or change worn out chest wall leads, empty folet bags, cholostomy bags, turn patientevery 2 hours. Hourly rounds and make sure bed alarms are on for the fall risk patients. Electronic patient charting hourly.Notify RN is any significant changes wit the patient. Answer call lights and asst the patient with their needs. Also sometimes End of life care for patients on DNR status provide comfort care then post mortum care. Clean up the patient and tag and bag the patient before transport to the morgue. Break down the patient chart and and give the belongings to family. Asst with taking down the finished chart to the nursing office for the house supervisor follows up with calling the morturary
